At the time of this blog, the Wolves are on a 5-game home win streak. Their record is now 21-19 and they have gone ahead of the Houston Rockets for the 8th spot in the Western conference.
The Minnesota Timberwolves have struggled the past few years, and at the beginning of the season some people believed that this team could not turn it around and we as Wolves fans would have to endure another disappointing season.
This team began to show spots of brightness. Going above .500 and then when it seem like they were about to turn the corner, they would drop to below .500. However, as of late the Wolves have looked like a new team. According to Coach Adelman, “the team is starting to believe in the system.” A system that could get them into the playoffs. A place they have not seen since 2004. They have a good offensive team, which does include anyone coming off the bench. Defensively they can create problems for even the most elite player in the league.
The more they believe the better they will become, they are now starting to play up to their capability. Kevin Love no longer has to carry the burden of trying to do it all. Hats off to Coach Adelman and his staff for bringing this team together in a way we haven’t seen in awhile.
I believe in the system…they believe in the system….die hard fans believe in the system…..the Wolves should be in the playoffs.
